Fireproof
Under the close supervision of a renowned organization - Underwriters Laboratories Inc. - safes in the Optima 2 line were tested under the most severe fire conditions.

The results of these tests - fire resistance at 927º C (1700ºF) during one hour, simulated explosion at 1100ºC (2000ºF) during 30 minutes, and a 10 meters (30 feet) fall onto a hard cement surface followed by a 30 minute exposure to intense heat were conclusive: contents always remained intact. Clearly, GARDEX can guarantee you the best possible fire protection for all your valuable documents and belongings.

Anti-theft
The Optima 2 line is equipped with these outstanding anti-theft features:
chrome plated steel 2 cm (3/4") boltwork;
top, bottom, and side locking bolts;
new solid die cast handle with steel spindle;
S&G 6730 combination lock with chrome spy proof ring and dial (relock device);
new heavy duty hinges;
independent tamper resistant relock device;
